Adobe Reader proves to be the most functional, free PDF reader and editor available. Admittedly, Preview for Mac does share some of the features available on Adobe Reader, but not all of them. Mar 21, 2019.
- It’s important to note that the Adobe Reader DC app for Windows, while convenient and free, has limited PDF capabilities. The ability to edit fields, format documents, etc. Is only available with an upgrade to Adobe Acrobat Pro DC. The basic Reader DC app is free, with in-app purchases available, including Acrobat Pro DC.
- The Getting Started eBook is pre-installed with Adobe Digital Editions 4.5.11; however, it will not be installed if you install as a standard user (non-admin user).If it is not installed or if you happen to remove it, you can download it using the following link.
